Become a More Creative Golfer!

Playing practice rounds of golf with just one club in bag will make you a much more creative player! Go for a round of golf on your own and bring just a 9 iron with you! i know it sounds crazy to play an entire round with just a nine iron! But because the 9 iron is the wrong choice for almost every shot imaginable, you eventually learn, by trail and error, to make the right choice in you golf shot.

To hit your shot further you’ll have to move the ball back in your stance and close the clue face. to make the golf ball land soft lay the golf club more open and swing the club outside to inside the target line! to putt you’ll have to choke up on the club (to the metal) and hover the club above the ground about an inch, so your topping the ball on purpose, making to roll smoothly across the green without hopping or skidding! After a couple of rounds you start to stop thinking about the thirteen clubs in you bag, except to wonder why you bother with them! soon a second club would only be a hindrance to you and your golf game!

Here is an idea of the type of game me and my friend play to practice!A one club gold course is five holes long playing 1,2,7,8,9 and par is twenty! Everyone is required to play from the forward tees. It is allot of fun and i seriously suggest that you and your friend give it a go! It has helped my golf game immensely! I was always good with my short game, but now even when i play with a full set i find myself using my 9 iron, just from playing so many rounds with it i now use it on full shots chipping and pitch i even use it from green side buckers every now and again!

Like most weekend golfers, i used to spend way too much time focusing on the club i wish i owned and way too little time tying to fully understand the ones i already own! I would without a doubt be a better golfer if i could just force myself to remember the lessons i learned every time i play a round of golf with just my 9 iron, which lead me to the conclusion that the wrong choice of club is sometimes a better choice than the right one!

Biomechanics Of Golf

biomechanics golf

By John Lynch

Can the biomechanics of golf teach you how to build a fundamentally sound golf swing?

An important physical principal in golf biomechanics is the conservation of angular momentum…the scientific principal that states the angular momentum of an object remains constant as long as no external force or moment acts on that object.

Simply stated – if the object (club head) moves closer to the axis (formed by the golfer’s stationary spine), it’s velocity increases. If the object is moved farther out from the axis, it’s velocity decreases.

Conservation of angular momentum can be clearly seen in the figure skater who performs a stationary spin on ice. As she brings her arms closer to her body, she spins faster – moving her arms away from her body causes her to slow down.

To take full advantage of the biomechanics of golf you must give angular momentum time to build up during the downswing or you are fighting the laws of physics – do not rush the downswing!

By allowing angular momentum to gradually build during the downswing will create an incredible amount of club head speed to be delivered to the ball at impact – this is why the pros look so effortless when they swing – they are taking full advantage of golf biomechanics and the conservation of angular momentum.

Solid golf biomechanics clearly states you must give the downswing time to develop if you want to take advantage of the laws of physics and angular momentum.

By allowing angular momentum to build up gradually during the downswing something beautiful happens in the world of golf biomechanics – at the end of the downswing the hands move farther from the body or axis of rotation and slow down. This reduction in momentum transfers into the much lighter club head and increases the velocity of the club head during the last part of the golf swing, and like the skater when she comes to an abrupt stop from her spin – in a whiplash type of effect, unleashes an incredible amount of force into the golf ball at impact!

The result is effortless power as described in detail by Joe Dante and Andy Brown in their top selling golf instructional system – Four Magic Moves to Winning Golf.

So why not take advantage of golf biomechanics and the conservation of angular momentum and incorporate these laws into your golf swing??

This milled putter features the same multi-material construction as the original BlackSeries Putters, but now utilizes the multi-layer Tour insert that provides premium feel and responsiveness, improving performance on the green.
Our engineers have precisely controlled the head weight so it can be matched with the specific shaftlength for impeccable consistency and control. The rich, nickel-plated finish will also appeal to eliteplayers. And the Fine-Tuned Loft System optimizes the loft in conjunction with the Center of Gravity(CG) to generate pure roll characteristics.

Overview of the Black Series i 2-Ball:
Unique 2-Ball Putter Alignment System – Improves your aim for better accuracy. Multi-material construction – The 1025 carbon steel body and weighted tungsten flange create a low, deep CG to promote true roll. Head weight optimization maximizes consistency and distance control, enhances feel and provides better roll characteristics. Tour insert inside this milled putter is constructed of an elastomer core that enhances feel and a thin, firm outer striking surface infused with urethane for fine-tuned responsiveness. Precision milled putter head with a rich, nickel-plated finish creates optimal balanced weighting. Hogged-Out Hosel allows weight to be redistributed to the tungsten flange for a low, deep CG.
